Trentham Park 2012 Opens

In total five tournaments will be held at Trentham Park Golf Club during 2012 and we'd like to highlight three of those below.

The annual Gents Open will be played on Sunday 12th August. The competition is a 4-Ball Betterball Stableford and has an entry-fee of just £40 per pair for two visitors. It's open to players with a maximum handicap of 28 and places usually fill up very quickly.

Another tournament where early booking is essential is the Ladies Team Open on Tuesday 24th July. The format is a team of three Stableford where the best 2 scores count. Open to players with a handicap of 36 or less this popular event is very good value at just £60 per team.

The Mixed Pairs Open also fills up quickly too. Entry is £40 per couple for visitors with maximum handicaps of 28 (men) and 36 (ladies). The format is 4-Ball Betterball Stableford and will be played on Sunday 10th June.

For each of the above events you can pre-book a 2-course meal for £10.50 and enjoy the fine food at Trentham Park.

A Seniors Open and Junior Open also take place during 2012.

About Trentham Park

Trentham Park Golf Club has established itself as a superb parkland course conveniently located with excellent access from junction 15 of the M6.

Set in the former grounds of Trentham Hall, it is an 18-hole par 71 course. There are many challenging holes, offering both high and low handicap golfers a fair and exciting challenge.

The pleasantly wooded course makes excellent use of water features, including an unforgettable opening drive, needing to skirt a waterfall and lake, to achieve par. Recently greens and surrounds have been re-designed and re-bunkered.

A refurbished clubhouse offers first class facilities and the Club's reputation for making visitors welcome is well deserved, with the food being as good as the course.
