The Yorkshire section of the Golfdelaluz.com Northern Matchplay Golf Championship is a season-long knockout tournament for golfers in Yorkshire with a 36 hole regional final at The Alwoodley Golf Club in Leeds.
Simply win a maximum of just six games against local golfers, at either your home course or away from home, to claim a place in the Yorkshire final.
The winners at Alwoodley then progress to an overseas grand final at the stunning Arcos Gardens in Spain where they will take on the winners from other regions across the North of England for the overall title.
The competition is a great way to play new courses either free of charge or at significantly reduced green-fees and is now in it's third year. Find out more.

Overseas Final...
The Individual & Pairs winners from each region qualify for the grand final.This includes four nights villa accommodation and three rounds of golf at the stunning Arcos Gardens Resort in Spain between 14th & 18th October 2012.
Flights, transfers, buggies & food are all included.
Subsidiary Tournament...
There is also a subsidiary tournament for entrants who wish to join the grand finalists at Arcos Gardens in October.
Golfers taking part in the Golfdelaluz.com Northern Matchplay Challenge will enjoy three days of competitive golf and four nights at the stunning Arcos Gardens Resort.
Prices start from just £395 per person and if you decide to book and then qualify for the grand final you will be reimbursed with a full refund.
Fast Track to the Final...
Golfers also have the chance to 'fast track' themselves to the grand final by winning one of two stand alone tournaments that form part of the championship.
The winner at the Fixby Challenge on Friday 27th July and the winning pair in the Cleveland Classic on Thursday 16th August will automatically qualify for the grand final.
