The 2012 Midlands Matchplay Golf Championship is a knockout golf competition open to amateur golfers in the Midlands and entries are now being taken.
Individual & Pairs...
There is an Individual competition and a Betterball Pairs event both played on a matchplay format. To enter you must be a member of a golf club in the Midlands and have an official CONGU handicap. Entry is just £15 per person for the Singles and £25 per pair for the Betterball.
Regional...
Golfers are allocated in to one of four regions based on their golf clubs location - North, East, South or West. The first round is played over 36 holes on a home and away basis. Winners will then continue to compete against their fellow golfers to try and win their region and qualify through to the Midlands Finals.
Midlands Final...
The winners of each region will compete at the expenses paid final where the overall champions will be crowned. This will take place at a top Midlands course.
Vouchers...
The winners of the individual and pairs competition at the Midlands Final will win fantastic cash vouchers!
