SIMON Edwards tore the Fairhaven course apart with a stunning eight-under-par 65 in a PGA North Region pro-am.
The Windermere professional made his intention clear from the start with an eagle at the third, where he began his round, followed by six birdies.
He finished four shots clear of the field with five players sharing second place.
