HPGA WINTER FOUR BALL
Forty-four Professionals will be contesting the Hampshire PGA's Winter Fourball Tournament next Wednesday (9th March) at South Winchester GC.
Hayling's Mark Treleaven and David Aitchison will be aiming to retain the title they won in 2010.
Other favoured partnerships include James Ablett & Rob Edwards (both Lee-on-the-Solent) and Kevin Saunders (Brokenhurst Manor) & Jon Barnes (Ampfield).
Play commences at 11.00hrs.
21ST OVERSEAS PRO-AM
The Hampshire PGA's Overseas Pro-Am celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. 12 teams will be travelling to Spain on Saturday (12th March) for the 72 hole pro-am, which is being played at San Roque, El Paraiso and La Canada.
Ian Roper's team of Bob Terris, John Cannon & Richard Lambourne have been regular competitors since the event started in 1991. In that time venues have included Lisbon, Antalya (Turkey), La Manga and Myrtle Beach (USA) in 2003.
Roper, Brokenhurst Manor's Kevin Saunders and El Paraiso's Daniel Westermark will be amongst the favourites to win the professional event.
