The Senior Pairs Open to be played at Burnham on Crouch Golf Club, for golfers aged 55+, will take place on Tuesday 21st June 2011 with early booking recommended.
The format is a Pairs Betterball Stableford with an entry-fee of £58 per pair. The handicap limit is 28 with a 3/4 allowance in place on the day.
The entrance fee includes tea or coffee on arrival and a buffet lunch after your round. There are excellent prizes on offer with several spot prizes up for grabs.
Special Hole-in-One Prize
What's more there is a special hole-in-one prize of a brand new car for anybody achieving an ace on the 11th hole! A hole-in-one on any of the other par 3's will see you win a holiday or some golf clubs!

About the course
Burnham on Crouch is certainly the hidden jewel of Essex golf.
Nestling in the Crouch valley it is a friendly and relaxed Members Club where Visitors are always assured of a warm welcome.
Founded in 1923 the 18 hole, par 70 course is set amidst 120 acres of open countryside with panoramic river views from all parts of the course. Although a parkland course, its proximity to the river gives some holes a "links feel" and offers a challenge to players of all abilities.
Greens are in top condition for most of the year, especially during open events, and the drainage system, installed a few years ago, allows for all year round play.
