DAVENPORT assistant Graham Cox fired a final round 67 to win the PGA North Region Glenmuir Overseas Pro-am at Algarve resort Laranjal.
And he achieved it in style by birdying the last four holes on his way to a nine-under-par aggregate.
That left him six ahead of half-way leader Matthew Tottey, the double PGA assistants’ champion attached to North Wales Golf Club, who signed off with 68.
Darren Leng, from East Yorkshire club Far Grange, carded 69 to finish third nine strokes adrift of the mark.
DETAILS: 280 Graham Cox (Davenport) 75 70 68 67; 286 Matthew Tottey (North Wales) 71 71 76 68; 289 Darren Leng (Far Grange) 78 74 68 69; 296 Ryan O’Neill (Penwortham) 82 73 72 69.
