PAUL Lowey won the Bolton Old Links Trophy for the second time in three years as three of his fellow Manxmen featured in the top 12.
The plus one player from Rowany laid the foundation for his first Mitsushiba Northern Order of Merit victory of the season with an opening 68 which included four birdies on the inward half.
He added 71 to finish two shots clear on five-under-par from Chorley’s Liam Ball as first round leader Andy Runciman, from Deane, followed up a 67 with 78 to slip down the leader board into ninth place.
