DAVID Mansell had a real up and down day in the De Vere Leeds Cup east qualifying round at Oulton Hall.
The Wakefield professional birdied the last two holes to take his total to six as he returned a two-under-par 69 which also included a double bogey at the 16th.
He was a shot ahead of Jon Williamson, from Tadcaster club Scarthingwell as 29 players book their place in the tournament at Oulton Hall on August 24-26.
